Rich is a primary teacher and Senior Leader with over 20 years experience in a range of schools. Currently studying for his NPQH, he is an English subject leader and a KS2 writing moderator. His love of reading led him to set up whatiread.co.uk during lockdown – a review website specialising in children’s books, and he presents the ‘Audio Authors’ show here on teacherhug.co.uk featuring reviews and readings from some of the latest books, both education and other genres.

He also co-presents the Saturday Quiz show with Matt Dechaine, and when not working can be found (unsurprisingly) reading a good book (spy thrillers are a favourite), cooking, or walking by the sea with his family.
